Privacy Policy
Grandvault Inc. ("Grandvault," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your organization's data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our platform at grandvault5.com and related services.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including account registration data (name, email, company), payment information processed via PCI-compliant processors, and documents you store on our platform. We also collect usage data, log files, IP addresses, browser type, and device identifiers to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
GDPR Compliance (EU/EEA Users)
For users in the European Union and European Economic Area, Grandvault acts as a data processor under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process personal data only on documented instructions from our customers (data controllers). We maintain Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international data transfers and support Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) within 30 days. Our EU data processing operations are headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany.
CCPA Compliance (California Residents)
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. Data Retention
We retain account data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days following cancellation. Document data is retained as configured by your organization's administrators. Audit logs are retained for 7 years to support compliance requirements. Usage analytics are retained for 24 months in anonymized form.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, functional cookies for user preferences, and analytics cookies (with consent) to understand platform usage. You may decline non-essential cookies via our cookie banner. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies or share behavioral data with advertising networks.
Third-Party Services

Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Grandvault Inc. governing your access to and use of the Grandvault platform. By accessing or using Grandvault, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You may use Grandvault only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the platform to store, transmit, or process any content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others. You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account and must maintain the confidentiality of your credentials.
Service Availability & SLA
Grandvault commits to 99.97% monthly uptime for Professional plans and 99.99% for Enterprise plans, as measured by third-party monitoring. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated 72 hours in advance. Service credits are available for downtime exceeding SLA thresholds, as detailed in your subscription agreement.
Intellectual Property
You retain all ownership rights to documents and data you store on Grandvault. By using the platform, you grant Grandvault a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service. Grandvault's software, trademarks, and platform design are proprietary and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grandvault's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Grandvault shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death/personal injury.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Austin, Texas, except for injunctive relief which may be sought in any court of competent jurisdiction.
